Cold Weather Chic (An Update)

Frostbite Rides kick off tomorrow... although it isn't looking promising. Theoretically, we don't really want to get frostbite -- and temps aren't expected to hit above 30 degrees in the morning.

So what does it take to be properly dressed for winter riding? (Sluggo, this is for you!) Through trial and error, this is the combination that works for me.
Base layer: Pactimo long sleeve base layer shirt paired with Hot Chillys Peach Skin leggings or Pactimo compression tights.
Mid layer: UnderArmour Cold Gear long sleeve crew or mock.
Outer Layer: Pactimo Cascade jacket (or my Pearl Izumi Gavia jacket. See Cold Weather Chic, December 2012), and Performance thermal cycling tights.
Accessories: Wool ski socks partnered with Garneau booties over my cycling shoes; A Hincapie Arenberg headband (with a ponytail port!) on my head. (I also picked up a great warm beanie from the Harpoon P2P Ride that fits nicely under my helmet. I might choose that some days.); and a pair of Pearl Izumi Thermal Lites under Planet Bike Lobster Claw gloves. (On super-cold days only. Those lobby claw gloves are pretty toasty without them.)
Keeps me COZY!!
