PMC 2005 Complete! Thank You for Your Support!

Pan Mass Challenge 2005 was a success! This year, together, (I am so proud to say), we raised $4,000 for the Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute -- bringing our total to over $10,000! (The PMC as a whole estimates that this year's fundraising total will reach $21 MILLION, bringing the PMC's 26 year total to $141 MILLION!) I am very grateful for the generosity of my sponsors and cannot thank you enough. (If you haven't made a donation, and still wish to do so, the deadline is October 15th).

Many of you know that riding the Pan Mass Challenge has became very personal to me. Several people dear to me are fighting, or have been diagnosed with, cancer this year. I am encourgaged by the work at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and believe strongly in the mission of the Pan Mass Challenge and The Jimmy Fund. It is because of events such as the PMC that critical advances in cancer treatments are being made.

I often feel that training, and riding the bike 171 miles in 2 days, is the easy part of the challenge. Thank you for helping me meet my fundraising goals.

If you weren't able to contribute this year, I hope you will consider supporting me in next year's ride. I hope to ride again in 2006—the challenge and the goal is the same. Perhaps next Spring I can convince one of my cousins to join me! You can keep track of my PMC efforts here at the blog. Don't forget to bookmark it!

With best wishes, love, and gratitude,

Tammy
