The temperatures dropped into the single digits this week... and our poor old furnace, working like The Little Engine that Could, just couldn't keep up with the frigid temperatures outside. Temps in the house all week have hovered between 51 and 56 -- it's cold!! (A new furnace has been ordered, postponing our trip to Norway next summer.)
So what does this have to do with cycling or training? Well... it got me to the YMCA gym every day this week because it's heated and warm there!! (Sometimes it's the little things that keep you motivated...)
Our frostbite ride will be postponed tomorrow because we really don't want to get frostbite. It will be another day on the trainer or spin bike for me... I really racked up the indoor miles this week because of our unheated house! Ahh... the joys of winter in New England...
