A few months ago, the Cyclopaths lost an amazing friend and rider, Manny Marques, to lymphoma. Manny was an exceptional, caring, generous person who I truly cherished as a friend. While he wasn't able to join us very often these last two years, my visions of him storming up the hills in Gloucester and Manchester are still fresh in my memory. Manny occasionally rode a mountain bike on our journeys - and yet he flew along like he was riding on carbon. He was an ox. I spent many rides with Manny discussing everything under the sun -- especially sports and his favorite team, the New England Patriots. Riding with him was like riding with an older brother. I enjoyed every moment I spent with him and will miss him, always.

Manny Marques - In Memory
