Hi Friends!! Sorry for my lack of writing lately!
My training has been going very well -- I've managed to ride nearly every weekend in April and May -- with only one rainout! I've also been riding in the mornings a few days a week. This past Saturday, (Memorial Day Weekend), I rode to Gloucester with the Cyclopaths (plus an extra loop to Winter Island, Salem), for 40 miles. EASY! (I love it when 40 miles becomes a piece of cake.)
I've also been successful in dropping some of the weight I've gained over the last two years. I'm just six pounds from my goal and feel terrific. Cycling shorts are very unforgiving, so dropping 20 pounds is really making me very happy.
Construction continues... soccer and baseball games keep us busy... school gets out soon! More Later...
