Manchester, Gloucester, Annisquam

On Saturday we rode up the coast towards the pretty village of Annisquam, with stops in Manchester, Gloucester, and Rockport. The weather was amazing -- I hope we have the same dry air and comfortable temperatures during the PMC weekend!

Our morning started with 27 riders heading out of Salem -- I think our numbers are up for PMC training. We had several new faces in the group today. After our first stop in Manchester, 20 Cyclopaths continued on to Gloucester, where we once again ate at The Morning Glory Restaurant. I think they must be getting tired of us. (I know I'm getting weary of the trek myself.) During breakfast I met a friend of Sue's who rode in the 1985 Boston-New York AIDS Ride! Oh my gosh! We had 3,000 riders that year, but, until today, I hadn't met any riders from that inaugural ride (outside my core team.) It made me miss my old riding buddies. (Sniff... sniff...) I still can't believe that was ten years ago. Where did the time go???

Following breakfast, 12 of us continued on to Rockport and Annisquam for a 65 mile RT. It was a great ride!

2 Weeks to go until PMC Weekend. Wahoo!
